Berkeley: The Bancroft Library, 1973. First edition. Publisher's blue cloth. Illustrated with original photographs. This is copy no. 26 of an unknown number printed. Originally these oral histories were printed on demand, and numbered in the order in which they were produced. One page stained from an enclosure, small nick at top of the spine. Inscribed in March 1974 by Louis M. Martini to a Dr Binkley, who assisted the Martini family when they lived in Kingsburg, California (1920s-1941). With a letter from Louis P. Martini to the doctor about refilling and recorking his 1955s, and another letter from Dr Binkley, lending the book to author and food and wine entrepreneur Narsai David. Louis M. Martini died in 1974, and it's unlikely he inscribed many copies. Item #32181
